PURPOSE:To fit pellets to a stem efficiently by forming pellets by scribing a wafer for a surface-wave filter after coating previously its reverse surface with an adhesive, and then by fitting them at fixed positon of the stem surface. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of wafer 1 of LiTaO3 for a surface-wave filter, input-out electrodes are formed which consist of comb line electrodes combined by turns, and the reverse is coated with an adhesive. Next, wafer 1 is scribed 2 longitudinally and laterally at right angles to form pellets 3. Then, pellets with their reverse applied with the adhesive are extracted, one by one, and mounted on the stem at fixed positions and a filter is manufactured by bonding them by heating. |
