PURPOSE:To improve the storage and output stabilities, output response, and continuous recording property for along time, by incorporating tropan into a recording medium liquid comprising a recording agent and a solvent used for the ink-jet method. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium liquid comprising a recording agent, e.g. a dye or pigment, a solvent, and (a) 20-90wt% preferably 35-90wt%, more preferably 50-90wt%, of tropan (T) for its mixture with water, or (b) 2-80wt%, preferably 2-70wt%, more preferably 5-60wt%, of T for its mixture with water and an alkyl alcohol, e.g. propyl alcohol, an ether, e.g. ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, a polyhydric alcohol, e.g. ethylene glycol, or an amine or amide, e.g. formamide. |
