<p>The method of enhancing monophonic sound reproduction uses three loudspeakers (2, 3, 4), a low frequency, intermediate and a high frequency loudspeaker. The speakers are arranged at different heights in a room, the intermediate frequency loudspeaker (3) being located equidistant from the other two with its axis at a right angle to the axes of the other loudspeaker (2, 4). The low frequency loudspeaker (2) is placed on the floor, the intermediate loudspeaker (3) about 1 m above ground and the high frequency loudspeaker (4) between 1.7 and 1.9 m above ground. The low and high frequency loudspeakers are angled at between 30 deg. and 50 deg. to one another. The loudspeakers are coupled to a common amplifier through low, intermediate and high frequency filters.</p> |
