Junction strip esp. for hot plates - has two folded components separated by cross and lengthways insulating walls

The junction strip having a low overall geometry is esp. for shallow modern hot-plates. The strip has a rectangular platform (1) which is divided by verticle insulated walls into separate compartments with a central wall (6) running between them. This has a slotted corner section (8) and 'V' shaped cut-outs (22, 23) on its verticle surface in which the inward surface of the junction electrodes locate. The electrodes are in two parts. One has three male spade terminals (25) integral with an inverted 'U' bridge (9) which has downward and rearward pointing locating lugs (18, 22). The second part, also an inverted 'U' shape is located similarly accepting incoming stripped cable. Connection to the plug section is by a rectangular tail (15) passing over the central divider and locating under the top surface of the cable section.
