<p>A central container for the powder has several filling points comprising a tube and nozzle. In front of one point is a number of empty sacks loaded into a magazine fitted with wheels. On one side is a cylinder operated by compressed air, having a claw fitted to an extension of the piston rod. This opens the mouth of the first sack, using an air blast to separate the walls. A spring bar prevents the blast completely filling the sack. As each filler tube indexes round, a sack is picked up and filled.</p> |
