PURPOSE:To stably obtain treated water of high purity in large quantities by treating condensed water with a cation exchange resin layer, a powder ion exchange resin filter layer, and a mixed bed type resin layer in series and by using the two layers except the mixed bed layer at ordinary times. CONSTITUTION:When the purity of condensed water is low at start of a boiler or leakage of a condenser, the water from valve 7 is passed through water monitor Mi and valve 8, treated in tower 1 having cation exchange resin layer 2, passed through valves 9, 11, treated in precoat filter 3 having powder cation and anion exchange resin filter layer 4, passed through water monitor Mc, and treated withe mixed bed type desalination tower 5. When the value of the treated water measured with water monitor Mc becomes that satisfying a boiler feed water standard, the operation is shifted to that at ordinary times bypassing tower 5. |
