The clamping-screw-type coupling device is for use between enamelled flanges, its jaw width being adjusted by the screw. It has a one-piece C-shaped stirrup (1), with a protrusion (2) at one end hooking into engagement with the outside of one flange. At the other is a tapped hole (6) for a screw (7), whose point (8) engages in a recess (9) in the outside of the other flange. Annular grooves can be formed (3) in the flanges, and there can be a recess in the central part of the protrusion. The outer end of the tapped hole can be counter bored to take the cylindrical head of an allen or other screw.
|
