The electricity generating system, using solar energy, employs several solar generator sections (SG1...SGn) mounted in parallel, each having one or more solar cells connected in series. The coupling connections are provided by a bus bar (3) and an earth line (4). The collector/emitter circuit of a respective PNP transistor (T1...Tn) is coupled between each solar generator section (SG1...SGn) and the earth line (4), with a pulsed rectangular voltage (Ust) applied between the transistor base and the earth line. Alternatively an NPN transistor may be coupled between each solar generator section (SG1...SGn) and the bus bar (3), with a pulsed rectangular voltage applied between the transistor base and the bus bar (3).
