Microbicidally active acylated and phenylaminotetrahydro-2-furanones of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R represents a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkoxy group, R1 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or a C1-C3 alkyl or C1-C4 alkoxy group, R2 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or a C1-C3 alkyl group, and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, the total number of carbon atoms in the substituents R, R1, R2 and R3 in the phenyl ring not exceeding 8, and each of R4 and R5, which may be the same or different, represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group may be employed in the form of pest control compositions, in particular for controlling phytopathogenic fungi or for preventing fungal attack of cultivated plants. |
