METHOD FOR REFUELING A NUCLEAR REACTOR A method for refueling a pressure-tube type nuclear reactor comprising a calandria tank filled with a moderator and having a number of pressure tubes extending therethrough, each pressure tube having inserted therein a nuclear fuel assembly, with a coolant flowing through the pressure tubes. The method consists in detecting the reactor power, and adjusting the speed at which a nuclear fuel assembly is withdrawn from the associated pressure tube and the speed at which another nuclear fuel assembly is inserted into the pressure tube in such a manner that the rate of a rise in the reactor power remains in a predetermined range.
