PURPOSE:To prepare a printing ink composition suitable for the printing of a plastic packaging film, by using a specific polyurethane polyurea resin as main binder. CONSTITUTION:The objective printing ink composition is prepared by using a binder comprising a polyurethane polyurea resin soluble to organic solvent and prepared by reacting (A) a high molecular weight diol composed of (a) 80-20 wt% of a polyether-type diol having a molecular weight of 700-2500 (pref. derived from bisphenol A) and (b) 20-80 wt% of a polyester-type diol having a molecular weight of 700-2500 (e.g. obtained from adipic acid and ethylene glycol), (B) and organic diisocyanate such as tolylene diisocyanate, and (C) a diamine such as ethylenediamine as a chain extender. |
