PURPOSE:To enable starting of the performance at an optional position of the record for the linear tracking system player by installing the luminous element to the tone arm and the movable photo detector to the motor board respectively. CONSTITUTION:Luminous element 17 (photo detector 12) is installed to tone arm 6, and photo detector 12 (luminous element 17) is installed to motor board 1 respectively. Pointer 11 is matched to an optional position on record 3 through transparent part 10 provided to arm 9, and accordingly the position of detector 12 connected to pointer 11 also shifts. When record 3 is turned, arm 6 shifts and light quantity of detector 12 varies at the position where element 17 and detector 12 overlap each other. The variation of the light quqntity is detected, and then the stylus tip of arm 6 touches record 3 to start the performance. In such way, the performance becomes possible at an optional and desired position of the record. |
