The attachment fits over the body of the tractor and comprises a flat catwalk on each side, which is accessible up short steps. A rail runs parallel to each catwalk and these are used for locating ladders which hook over, or pivot on, the rails. The ladders are held by chains and provide access to the top branches of fruit trees. Automatic cutters are supplied from a central pipeline elevated over the driver's head and a roller conveyor removes full boxes. A power ram and ground support steady the machine.
