The fitting provides an embedded bolt-anchorage in a concrete wall gives bolt access from either major face of the panel, and includes detachable end pieces which provide for attachment to panel forms whilst accommodating panel thickness variations. A hollow polygonal, pref. square, housing locates a metal nut, built into a hollow round section sleeve. Two sleeve sections straddle the housing, their identical co-axial bores communicating and aligning with the threaded bore of the nut, and their open ends each receiving and end piece. One end piece may take the form of a funnel, the stem entering the sleeve to penetrate against a coil spring, and the rim bearing on the wall form, and a tapered dowel locating in a form hole. The other end piece may have a similar shape but be fixed relative to the sleeve end.
|
