<p>The drive system is used with a chain hoist. It has a reducer output shaft driven by a motor and drive pinion and a chain driven by the shaft rotation. The pinion is flexibly mounted on this shaft, using a flexible sleeve between it and the shaft. The sleeve can also be fitted between the pinion and a part shrunk onto the shaft. The shape of the two parts, between which the sleeve is mounted, is such as to prevent relative rotation between them. The sleeve is made of rubber, the hardness being between 45 and 80 Shore.</p> |
