Tracking control for agricultural trailer - includes ground monitoring disc linked to drawbar servo mechanism

The agricultural trailer, with working attachments, is accurately gided along the plant rows by a sensor (20) as well as by a disc (10) which tracks in the ground. The disc is linked to a steering servo valve and ensures that no sudden deviations are made due to gaps in the plant row or ground irregularities. The disc provides a simple tracking control to maintain the alignment of the trailer. The rear wheels of the trailer are steered by the servo control so that the lateral position of the vehicle is ensured.
