<p>PURPOSE:To provide a good stability when being used, by jointing the emitter chip, made of thermionic emitting material, to the electrode with a heat holding material, fixed to the electrode and made by a glassy carbon, interposed. CONSTITUTION:An emitter chip 1, made by a thermionic emission material, is put between heat holding materials 6 fixed to an electrode 8 and made by a glassy carbon. For fixing the heat holding material 6 to the electrode 8, for instance, with a point end of the electrode 8 split into two, the heat holding material 6 is put between through a graphite paper 7 further with a tightening made by a heat holding material fixing screw 11. The heat holding material 6, being made by a glassy carbon, can stably make the use throughout a long period.</p> |
