PURPOSE:To enable to remove the ghost failure as well as the interference wave of audio signal simultaneously, by controlling the amount of phase shift so that the amplitude of the amplitude modulation component can be minimized with the output of the AM detector. CONSTITUTION:Among the reception outputs of the antennas 11 and 12, one of them is synthesized at the synthesizer 14 via the phase shifter 13 (the amount of phase shift is varied with the amplitude of the analog voltage obtained externally.), and the output is fed to the receiver 15 and also to the AM detector (it detects the amplitude modulation component in the output of the synthesizer 14 and produces the voltage output depending on the amplitude of the amplitude modulation component.). Further, the control unit 17 controls the amount of phase shift of the phase shifter 13 automatically and correctly by receiving the output of the detector 16. Thus, without the complicated adjustment, the best condition of reception can be kept at all times. |
