<p>PURPOSE:A simple, compact, and economical water treatment apparatus consisting of a porous cylindrical container packed with specific laminated net medium. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrically formed synthetic resin net 3 is compressed into a flat form and the flatten synthetic resin net 3 is laminated plurally and adhered integrally by heating to form the laminated net medium 5. Then, it is put in a cylindrical container 10 made of a porous material to obtain the aeration medium 6. Also, the medium 5 is placed at the lower side of the circular separating plate 14 provided along the outside curvature of the container 10 in the water tank 12 to obtain the stationary medium 7. When polluted water is put to the water level b of the water tank 12 and the cylindrical container 10 is rotated at a low speed, a great amount of the circulating water e flowing at a low speed is produced throughout in the inside of the stationary medium 7, during which polluted water is brought into contact with the aeration medium 6 and subjected to biological treatment with the supply of great quantities of oxygen.</p> |
