Separator plant for articles knitted in a string - has hook guiding yarns to cutter and fusing mechanism

Thread cutter assembled so that it can be moved freely, on a knitting machine, is formed by a support ending above in a hook. At about its middle the support has a knife, and the ground and the loosening threads are gathered by the hook and brought into contact with the knife, as the knitting of the articles progresses. In a second step, the sepg. threads are melted by rails arranged above conveyor belts located at the outlet of the machine. The belts are fine gauge gauzes; live steam is fed beneath the first whilst a suction box is positioned beneath the second.
