A method of prodn. is used for a doll's head, (1) especially a baby doll's head. The individual strains of hair are sewn into the doll's head cover in an almost circular shape. The hair strand at the edge of the hair line are sewn in considerably thicker and preferably twice as thick as in the centre of the head, with a part of the thick hair strands being combed downwards and then being attached to the surface of the head by an adhesive process. The upper and looser section of the hair strands are combed and then treated with a hair spray.
