PURPOSE:To make less in the change of waveforms while the sound waves propagate, without casing clear diffractive image, by constituting the opening as an ellipse and the section toward ellipse lengthwise including the horn center line as a sector greater in the opening angle. CONSTITUTION:The horn a has the opening 3 of an ellipse or the like, and when lengthwise the ellipse is cut with a plane including the center line, a sector having greater open angle or the like, i,e., maximum bottom side 6 and straight lined oblique side 4 are obtained. Further, when orthogonally cut with the plane including the center line, to lengthwise the ellipse, the bottom side 7 is minimum and the oblique side 5 is curved. Thus, the cross section is varied the same as conventional horn such as exponential horns. |
