The machine produces concrete components using a motor-driven vibrator with eccentric weight, the latter comprising a series of individual weights of adjustable phase relationship. To give the necessary addition or subtraction the direction of rotation of the driving shaft is reversed and the frequency changed simulatenously. The vibrator is driven by a two speed electric motor of the reversible-pole type. The adjustable eccentric weight (15) is supported by a boss (14) protruding into its rotational path on the main weight (12), and driven by the boss in the same direction as the latter. Spring supports are provided on the mating face of the sliding weight.
