The gas pressure control circuit for parallel gas flow lines has two valves (16, 17) associated with two pressure sensitive members each of which reacts to a different value of pressure signals produced by the regulators (14, 15). Detector units (22, 23) at each valve relay the pressure values to a system of spring loaded pistons and cylinders (53-56) which operate auxiliary circuits react through a pressure exchanger with a similar pair of circuits backed up a receiver cylinder. The duplication of hydraulic circuits enables the pressure level control to be regulated to within finer limits than has been possible with previous designs.
