<p>The circuit element has connecting lines whose ends are fitted with banana plugs. The connecting lines are designed, and serve, as tension springs. A stranded wire with some slack is fitted as extension limiter. The pins of the banana plugs have cross-slits and axial cutout, with a rubber-elastic plug fitted into the tip of each pin. These plugs are made of a silicone rubber. The springs are immersion-coated with a lacquer consisting of 10 pts. vol. transparent silicone paste, 1 pt. coloured rubber varnish contg. silicone oil, and a diluent. The coating is obtd. by repeated immersion, allowing each coating to set before repeating the immersion.</p> |
