The dental frame used in positioning reconstruction castings is made up of two articulating arcuate arms pivoted together at one end. The arms are adjustably supported on a vertical shaft which also supports a fork fitting into the base of the cases. The two arms have two projections which are placed in the patient's ears to locate the condylar articulations. A grooved nosepiece rests against the bridge of the nose to ensure the frame is positioned correctly relative to the skull.
