Such a device is intended for reliable detection, in plants of heavy industry, of the transport industry and of mining, of the different location identifications of the positions approached by the moving machine and transportation units in the operating sequence, and to allow accurate travelling manoeuvres. For this purpose, the invention provides, in addition to the devices for detecting the location data, means for fine positioning by means of a direction-finding method.
