<p>Welder for thermoplastics has two moving welding jaws, with >=1 having a resistance (or similar)-heated surface, and a switch, when a set pressure is reached between the welding surfaces, the switch is operated, and at least one jaw is spring-loaded so as to yield under the pressure of the other. Hand-operated welder applies constant pressure regardless of the operator, it is suitable for welding e.g. two films together.</p> |
