<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to generate clock pulses for voltage control oscillator stably and easily by applying gaps with reverse azimuth to a servo head and fixing the position of the head by means of the reading signals outputted by the gaps. CONSTITUTION:A stated magnetic pattern is recorded on respective servo tracks 11 to 13 by applying a fixed azimuth and further changing the direction of azimuth in every servo track. The servo tracks are scanned by servo head 2 having 2 gaps with azimuth whose directions are reversed each other, and the position of head 2 is controlled according to the reading signals 31 and 32 outputted by 2 gaps of servo head 2.</p> |
