<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device for absorbing noise of wide frequency range to readily inspect its pump with material of long life for eliminating the noise of the pump. CONSTITUTION:In a centrifugal pump having, for example, a pump casing 1, an inlet 2, an outlet 3, an impeller 4 and a bracket 5, etc., a noise eliminator is constructed with two blocks 7, 8 of concrete. The blocks 7, 8 are so formed as to divide at a vertical plane 9 containing an axis of the impeller 4. The blocks also have recesses 10, 11 for supporting the casing 1. Noise absorbers 12, 13 are provided between the facing surfaces of the blocks 7, 8 and between the casing 1 and the blocks 7, 8 with through holes 14-17 perforated through the blocks 7, 8 and with long bolts 18-21 inserted into the holes 14-17, respectively and tightened with nuts 22-25, respectively to thereby assemble the blocks 7, 8.</p> |
