The running rail (1) for a single-rail suspension track, attached to the gallery support system in underground mining or tunnel engineering, is of double-T shape, with sloped diverging end faces, and hinge connections comprising hinge on bottom flange and guideway above top flange. It is fitted for engagement by a driving spur wheel. There is a T-shaped batten (9) on the top flange (3), with its own flange (10) covering the latter, supported on battens (12, 13) at an interval. Below the bottom flange (4) there is a driving bar (15), with end tooth serving both as hinge component and driving cog. Connection is easily manupulated, and rail suspension can be independent of structural interval.
