PURPOSE:To draw a dust sample efficiently by a method wherein a dust sample attached to a filter is humidified, a peeling plate is pressed for zero treatment and thereafter, the dust sample which separates and moves to the peeling plate is recovered. CONSTITUTION:A dust sample 1 on a filter 3 drawn by a sampler is, first, dried to measure mass. Then, the sample 1 is humidified to hold water and a peeling plate 2 (e.g.: platinum plate) is pressed thereon. Then, to freeze and solidify the water held in the sample 1, the work is immersed into a zero treatment liquid (e.g.: liquified nitrogen). After a specified time (2-30sec) of the immersion, the work is withdrawn and while the water is frozen, the filter 3 is separated and the sample 1 is recovered. According to this method, limited sample can be drawn efficiently with a high yield.
