PURPOSE:To obtain a small heat printing device which can print on ordinary paper with a regenerable thermal ribbon, limiting the difference between the driving force to a belt form part and the friction force owing to guide parts and a heat printing head within the maximum sticking force between the belt form part and the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A belt form part 1 is heated by a hot heat printing head 3 and a thermomelting ink 12 on the outside is transfer printed on recording paper 2. A driv ing member 7 turns the belt form part 1 and applies the thermomelting ink of a feeding part 6 on the outer surface of the belt form part. Here, contact pressure and relative velocity are determined to give a relation, F1>=¦F2+F3-F4¦ among the maximum sticking force F1 between the recording paper 2 and the belt form part 1, the friction force F2 between the heat printing head 3 and the belt form part 1, the friction force F3 by guide parts 4 and the driving force F4 by the feeding part 6. By so doing, the recording paper 2 and the belt form part 1 do not slip with each other and the recording paper is not stained. |
