<p>A centrifugal purifier for liquids with a stationary hollow axle which serves as the liquid inlet has a coaxial tube in it for the liquid outlet. The rotor contains a channel which is formed by a band, wound in a spiral around a tube. A vane impeller at the bottom of the rotor receives the liquid through a space at the top with another vane impeller and an annulus surrounding the wound spiral. A collector space at the top of the spiral leads the liquid radially to the central outlet tube. This effects a precleaning of the liquid before it enters the slots of the spiral and simplifies the function of the purifier.</p> |
