PURPOSE:To enable conc. oxygen to be simply obtd. by setting one or more electromagnets and by supplying an electric current of a specified waveform to introduce oxygen molecules in air into a concentrator. CONSTITUTION:Oxygen taking-out body 1 is provided with air inlet 3, oxygen outlet 4, and a plurality of electromagnets 2. Body 1 is constituted by piling up one-process elements in layers, and each element consists of nozzle 5, next process introduction hole 6, exhaust gas pass 7, circulating pass 8, etc. Air is taken in through inlet 3, and spouted from nozzle 5. By the action of electromagnets 2 supplied with an electric current of a specified waveform shown by the diagram, paramagnetic oxygen molecules are shifted to the side of pass 8 to produce conc. oxygen. By applying a magnetic field of 3000 Gs the final oxygen concn. reaches about 40%. This oxygen generator is cheap and simple, so it is widely used in a hospital, an ambulance, etc. |
