The connection for a high pressure hose (30) with a nipple (10) consistsa of a main pipe section (11), a connecting section (12) fixed to it, and a nipple section (14) joined to the main pipe section (11) by means of a conical section (16). The nipple section (14) has axially spaced apart outward-protruding ridges (15) with externally rounded surfaces. A tubular sleeve (20) has at least one radially inward-pointing deformation. The hose (30) fits between the outer surface of the nipple section (14) and the inner surface of the sleeve (20).
