<p>A replaceable photosensitive cover material is for the drum or similar of an electrostatic copier which uses the normal reproduction processes of charge, development, transfer and cleaning. The leading edge of the photosensitive layer attaches to a retaining bar and the trailing edge is attached using an adhesive strip across its width. The trailing end (29) of the photosensitive material is attached to the leading edge (21), which is already hooked onto the drum (1), by a paper strip with parallel perforations (61, 63) and adhesive each side (31, 33:32, 34). With the photosensitive material in place, the paper strip bridges and holds firm the leading and trailing edges. To change the material a tag (69) is torn back and the strip (59) between the perforations tears out to loosen the material and disconnect leading and trailing edges.</p> |
