PURPOSE:To have prevention of electric shock at the time of no load at a low cost and favorably in terms of electric circuitry by stopping oscillation of an oscillator circuit using a no-load sensing circuit at the time of no load. CONSTITUTION:At the time of no load, for ex. when a fluorescent lamp 4 is removed from the socket, no current will flow in a choke coil 5. Accordingly no voltage is induced in the secondary winding 13 of this choke coil 5, so that No.1 switching element 14 is turned off while No.2 switching element 15 turned on, and oscillation of a control signal generator circuit 7 is stopped to eliminate generation of high voltage at the choke coil 5 or the socket of fluorescent lamp 4. This provides prevention of electric shock at the time of no load at a low cost in terms of electrical circuitry. |
