Signal converter for automatic camera focussing - directly converts binary measuring signals into setting signals for lens positioning

The signal converter for automatic camera focussing is used to set the taking lens to specific object ranges. When the lens (1) is adjustable to three characteristic ranges, binary coded output signals are used to assign the near range to binary signal 01, the far range to binary signal 10 and the middle range to binary signal 00. These binary signals are converted by mechanical devices (2, 3, 4, 5) directly into setting signals which are used to adjust the lens to the appropriate range settings.
