In the communication system, the information is transmitted in the form of an optical signal along an optical transmission line. There is a detector which converts the optical signal into an electrial signal. The electrical signal is then fed through a processing circuit. The optical transmission line transmists an optical signal with a constant component and an alternationg component. The constant component, when converted, will be sufficient to supply the electrical equipment. The two converted components are passed through a filter, where they are sepd. and processed.
