<p>The mechanism to release the connection on a seat belt after an excessive stress following an accident, has a movable connecting element on which the excessive acts. The connecting element is attached to the housing by a rated brake band which is ruptured when subjected to the excessive stress. The movable connecting element is drawn up to the upper part of the housing which has a set of ejector elements. The locking bolts are ejected from the bores and lock the drawing bolts simultaneously. Once the stress has stopped the movable connecting element is drawn back by two springs into its initial position, the ejectors release the drawing bolts which are then removed by springs from their fixings and the entire lock falls apart.</p> |
