PURPOSE:To make stable the oscillation frequency, by locating the high Q dielectric resonator in close to the solidstate oscillator in the cavity resonator. CONSTITUTION:The concave 9 having sufficiently smaller opening in comparison with the inner size of the cavity resonator is provided at a suitable location on the inner wall of the cavity resonator 8 having a coupling hole with the external circuit, and the solidstate oscillating element is mounted in it. The high Q dielectric resonator 12 is located nearly and opposing to the concave opening 11. The solidstate oscillation element 10 is coupled electromagnetically with the dielectric resonator 12 and highly stable oscillation is obtained at the resonant frequency of the dielectric resonator 12. The output is picked up from the coupling hole of the cavity resonator. Further, the mounting of the solidstate oscillating element at the concave causes the concentration of electromagnetic field energy to make easy the coupling with the dielectric resonator. |
