PURPOSE:To properly control an engine output by stopping a control for a prior speed change action and starting a control for a new speed change action when the new speed change action is carried out during a speed change shock relieving control. CONSTITUTION:When an ordinary shift-down condition is newly established at a point of time tb' prior to a point of time tc' at which a term Ta is elapsed from a point of time ta' at which the ordinary shift-down condition is established, no speed-change delay pulse signal Pj is fed from a transmission control unit 200 to an engine control unit 100 during the term Ta from the point of time ta' at which the prior ordinary shift-down condition is established to the point of time tc' but the pulse signal Pj is fed at a point of time td' at which the term Ta is elapsed from the point of time tb', starting a speed change shock relieving control for a speed change action at the point of time td'. Hence, whenever the speed-change actions of an automatic transmission 10 are repeatedly carried out in a short term, a speed-change correction value thetaA is set with a new speed-change action as a reference, properly controlling the output of an engine 1 to surely relieve a speed-change shock. |
