Ventilation device for buildings

In the cabinet (2) of the ventilation device are four ducts (3a to 3d) for the passage of the air expelled from the interior of the building through an opening (1) in a roof. These ducts (3a to 3d) are defined laterally by mutually parallel longitudinal walls (4) which are formed by the angled parts having the general shape of a V. The apexes (13) of these walls (4) are approximately at mid-height between the air admission openings (7) and the air outlet openings (8) of the ducts (3a to 3d). Protection against atmospheric precipitation (21) is ensured by the fact that the admission openings (7) are covered by panels (15, 16) of the walls (4). Rainwater is collected in gutters (19). Sound insulation is provided by the deflecting and reflecting of the sound waves (20).
