<p>The lift and tip device is particularly intended for handling a dust bin or the like. It comprises a slide movable along a guide which is pivotable about a horizontal pivot under the actions of a power cylinder. The cylinder is coupled between a fixed point on the device and the slide such that, in the lowest position of the slide, the line of action of the cylinder is parallel to the guide. In this position, the pivot axis is at a distance from this line to the side away from the path of the bin.</p> |
