<p>A loop of the ribbon passes along the feeler member, emerging at one side from the housing and reentering it on the other. The housing (1) has a fixed guide track (4, 6) for the ribbon (5), having an opening in the front part (6) for the passage of a printing head in the space enclosed by the track and the housing. The tracks can be slightly curved at the front, while components on the typewriter engage in the stiffened corners (12, 30) near the housing and at a point near the front guide, in order to stretch it. Clips (8) can be used to hold the ribbon to the track.</p> |
