PURPOSE:To enable the device to cope with multiple functioning of watches by the constitution wherein a ring-form function display dial is disposed on the dial and inputting is done by matching the dial to the set position through rotation of the crown and pushing an input switch. CONSTITUTION:A function display ring 3 is disposed around the dial and teeth for rotating the ring 3 and springs making pressure contact to the teeth of the ring 3 are provided, so that the root part of the springs make slide contact in the axial direction depending on the rotating directions of the ring 3. Electric contacts for detecting the rotating directions of the ring 3 are provided to these slide contact parts. When the crown 1 is rotated, the ring 3 rotates in the final by way of gears and since certain positions of the ring 3 are corresponded, one to one, to functions, the function displayed there may be known. |
