METHOD FOR MOLDING WEATHER STRIP

PURPOSE:To connect end parts obtained by cutting off a fin of a weather strip equipped with the fin by simply molding as a width is set irrespective of dispersion of a cut off size of the fin. CONSTITUTION:A groove into which a fin base part 70 formed by cutting off a fin 7 of a weather strip 5 is fitted, is molded to a bottom tool and besides, in a molding part at the center of the bottom tool this groove is buried via a partition wall. An end part of a fin base part 70 of an end part from which the fin 5 of the weather strip 5 is cut off is placed on the bottom tool from both sides so as to abut against the partition wall. Both ends of the weather strip 5 are connected to each other by molding by injection of a molding material into a cavity formed on the groove buried part.
