PURPOSE:To manufacture the title bulb simply, accurately and cheaply without using a relatively expensive mold of a short life for a funnel by adhering a glass tube for the neck part of the bulb to the funnel part simultaneously with forming the funnel part by sintering. CONSTITUTION:Jig 3 made of graphite or the like is composed of female die 31 and male die 32. In case jig 3 is for a square panel, fixing part C is provided with a guide key or the like to decide the directional properties between dies 31 and 32. After putting a glass tube for neck part 2 into space D of die 31, die 32 is inserted, and space E formed between dies 31 and 32 is filled with powder glass or a mixt. of powder glass and a little binder. Next jig 3 is placed in a sintering furnace to melt- sinter funnel part 1, which is simultaneously adhered to part 2. After releasing the adhered parts from the dies face panel 4 is adhered to part 1 with frit glass 5 in- between. |
