PURPOSE:A carbon swollen by acid treatment is filled into a fluorocarbon resin and the composition is formed and sintered to produce title material with high lubricant, sliding and wearing-resistant properties and further good dumping and errosion resistant characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A carbon swollen by the treatment with an acid as nitric acid, preferably in an amount of 5 wt% and, when necessary, carbon fibers, preferably in an amount of 10 wt%, are added to a fluorocarbon resin, preferably in 85 wt%, and the mixture is formed by compression in a mold and sintered at 360-390 deg.C to produce the material for sliding parts. EFFECT:Fine uneveness is formed on the surface of sliding parts and the protrusion parts are made of carbon, thus being excellent in sliding properties. |
